Day 5 : Evade Plan from Marriage - Young Indian Style!!

Few months back I read an article somewhere, the heading was so catchy and it was so much close to the today's society that it is still in my mind.The heading was -

"In India Higher studies means running from marriage"
(sort of something like this) and it is so true.

Well India is the place or we Indians are at that confusing stage that at one side we actually want to move ahead and have competition with the New york, Paris , Germany but still we are same oldies and Goldie want our child to get married in age of 21/25, want them to have arrange marriage only and most important the career should be only Doctor, Engineer, IAS , Teacher.For them painting, cricket, football are just a hobby and become a big NO when the exams are coming.

To evade from the early marriage, at the age where their career start bubbling they get themselves engaged into higher studies.Higher studies came as the rescue plan for them help them to avoid the marriage for like 2-3 years and just let them focus on their career.Despite of the having background of good middle class families the parents failed to understand that the world is still outside the marriage it is not end of the world nor start of the world.

But yes there are many parents who are understanding and moving ahead with the time giving space to their child.Trying to actually become buddy of them.But still many girls out there are struggling to make their parents understand that marriage do can wait but career can not.To evade from this hyped marriage the best evade plan is to go for higher studies because at least parents do the respect to the education but still those girls get to listen that - "if you will have higher degrees how we will gonna get a suitable guy for you" and I am 100% sure that time those girls must be smiling at her parents with grin and thinking in heart -"who is asking you to search husband for me? I know whom I want to get married"!!

For sure dear Indian parents, please be a actual friend of your kids as you are confuse, you are somehow creating confusion in your child life too. Already we have 100 of issues to deal with - so many new mobiles keep launching which to buy ? which not?, so many new movies come every Friday need to watch them and then publish expert comments on FB/Twitter, need to decide next weekend plan and so much blahh.

So kindly just Blahhout all the old things and hangout with your child.
